A corporate video we made for iThemba Labantu in Phillipi, Cape Town.
This video was originally shot by 9mm Films in 2007. We were brought on in 2009 to update the video as the Centre grew and offered new services. We have edited serveral versions of the video since then, in English and German. Most of the video is now our footage, although it does still contain some of the 9mm footage.
We have just finished working on a marketing trailer for a film “Umlilo”. The film is being produced by Mandisi Maqetuka, who is on a fund raising drive, looking for investors for the feature.
The story is about a policeman who grows weary of crime and the restrictions placed upon him, so he starts he takes the law into his own hands…
We’ll have the trailer up here soon, but for now here’s some photos from the shoot.

Hey there everyone
It’s a new year and the start of great new things for AKSP.
We’ve moved into our new office and our company has a new member – our third musketeer, Rob Beugelink.
We’ve been pretty busy on the corporate front so far this year, but still manage to find the time for some creative projects. We’ve shot one music video so far, for the singer Janie Bay, and we’re in pre-production on another one already for Sweat X. There’s also a short film that we shot a while back that will be finished up in the next few weeks as well as some newer and bigger projects that we’re cooking up.
Exciting times ahead. Watch this space…
